Within 12 months of you relocating.
2. HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO LODGE MY APPLICATION?
There are 2 stages to your registration
From the date of registration, you have up to 12 MONTHS to lodge your tenant application with appruvi– this is stage 1. This stage expires upon approval of your application or after 12 months whichever comes first.
Once your application has been approved by appruvi, Stage 2 commences and you now have 6 MONTHS to secure a property before your application expires.
3. WHY DO YOU HAVE 6 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR APPLICATION EXPIRES AFTER BEING PROCESSED BY appruvi?
Most real estate agents deem your references not current, if they are older than 6 months.
4. WHY SHOULD I UPDATE INFORMATION AFTER MY APPLICATION HAS BEEN PROCESSED BY appruvi?
It is important as your information changes, you login and update the necessary changes. Should you lodge an application and the agent identifies incorrect or not up to date information, your application may not be considered.
5. WHAT INFORMATION CAN I UPDATE?
Upon arrival in your new location, you will have a new current address being temporary accommodation, you may also have a need to change employment details, phone numbers, email, drivers licence etc should you require there is also ability to upload copies of any documents, new drivers licence etc
6. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I UPDATE MY INFORMATION?
Your application is placed on hold, whilst appruvi verifies the changes made, please note appruvi carries out this process asap, to ensure your application status is back to processed as soon as possible to enable you to apply for properties.
7. WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR PROPERTIES?
You can apply for properties anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, once your application has been processed by appruvi.
8. HOW LONG DOES TAC TAKE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS?
appruvi aims to have your application processed with 7 business days, however this can vary depending on the availability of referees. We recommend lodging your application and allowing yourself 1 month before you are due to relocate. Please note should we have any problems obtaining your references we would always contact you.
9. WHEN SHOULD I LODGE MY APPLICATION WITH appruvi?
We believe in the busy world of relocating, it is great to get things ticked off and done as soon as they can be, therefore we recommend lodging your application anywhere between 1-3 months before you relocate. Please calculate enough time to secure a property before your registration expires.
10. HOW LONG WILL THE APPLICATION TAKE ME TO COMPLETE?
We hope you will have completed the application within an hour. It really is dependent on how many occupants there are and how much activity and change you have had in the last couple of years in relation to your living history and employment.
Please note, you can log in an out of the application as needed, you may choose to complete it over a longer period.
It is good to have this extra time to complete the application without the pressure of needing all the information completed asap, as would be the case if you had viewed a property you need to apply straight away.
11. HOW DO I APPLY FOR A PROPERTY?
Once you have decided on a property, login to your account and follow the prompts to enter the agents and property details and lodge the application. This will automatically produce a final application report including the property details, your personal profile information, photos, identification, references, appruvi reference checks and database searches. The final report is automatically sent to the agent’s login and the agent is notified via email of your application.
12. ARE AGENTS CHECKED?
All agents must be registered and approved by appruvi before they are able to receive any tenant information, this is to protect your personal information.
13. WHY CAN’T I SEE ALL MY REFERENCE CHECKS AND DATABASE SEARCHES CARRIED OUT BY appruvi?
appruvi, act in line with real estate agent’s expectations and their standard processes and procedures whereby references are held confidential. All the references and data base searches are provided to the agent. appruvi complies with all duties and regulations in line with the Privacy ACT and would notify any applicant of the necessary information as required under these laws.
14. WHAT IF IT IS A PRIVATE LANDLORD?
appruvi, is happy to work with private landlords. Before any of your information is provided to the landlord, we would carry out the necessary checks to ensure they are the rightful owners of the property.
15. WHAT HAPPENS IF THE AGENT WANTS THEIR APPLICATION COMPLETED AS WELL?
appruvi is aware from time to time agents will also want their own application form completed. We have provided an option whereby all agents can upload their own application. appruvi will automatically complete this on your behalf and include it with the lodgement of your application.
16. IS MY INFORMATION SAFE?
Yes. appruvi takes security of your information seriously. The only people who have access to your information are those who have been authorised by you. Should anyone make any changes to your information, you are automatically notified, and the access and changes are recorded accordingly.
